Historical Fencing (1988 - 1993) in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) and in 1989 helped introduce SCA Fencing to Lochac.
Fencing (1987 - 1998) Captain of Griffith University Fencing Club (1987 - 1992) and training at Cannon Hill Club (1993-1994) under Maître Gary Worsfield, and Southport PCYC (1995-1998).

Volleyball (1987 - 1992) Casual with members of the Griffith University Volley Ball team and state team.
Taekwondo (1987 - 1990) Rhee style, Griffith University Dojang, 4th Kup Blue Belt.
Athletics (1985 - 1986) competing in hurdles, placing in long jump and winning tripple jump, 400m and 800m.
Orienteering (1984 - 1986) competing in Foot-O regional & state competitions at Toohey Forests, Mt Cootha, Mt Gravatt, & Daisy Hill.
American Football (1983 - 1984 and again in 1991 in 9RAR team against the US 25th Infantry Division team.
Cricket (1976 - 1979) competing in numerous lunchtime, after school and weekend test matches.
