Dr Zagami was fortunate to grow up with parents owning Pet shops and enjoying a wide range of fauna. While devoid of animal companionship in the 90's and 00's because of a single lifestyle exacerbated by long periods of overseas travel (though he did have an Aibo robot dog), he eventually convinced Debbie to get dogs, and they have since become a focus of their lives.
