Gold Coast Schools Digital Technologies Awards
We invite your school leader to nominate their school for the Gold Coast Digital Technologies awards.
The awards are conducted by the Gold Coast chapter of the Queensland Society for Information Technology in Education (QSITE) with the support of EducateIT and Griffith University, with the aim of promoting Digital Technologies education in Gold Coast schools.
Schools may submit a nomination of no more than 4000 characters describing the approach the school makes to Digital Technologies education. The submission can address any combination of the teaching of Digital Technologies, Digital Literacy, or the general use of Digital Technologies in your school.
The three equal criteria used in judging are:
Comprehensiveness;
Innovation; and
Inclusiveness.
There is no cost to nominate, and the winning schools will be announced at a buffet dinner at the conclusion of the EducateIT 2024 conference held at the Griffith University Gold Coast campus in November. Attendance at the award ceremony is optional, and if attending without conference registration, will involve a cost of $30 for the dinner for each attendee.
Winning schools will be presented with a trophy for permanent display at their school in addition to the results being published in local media.
Submissions must be made via https://forms.office.com/r/5xBackXAWf before 31 October 2024
We look forward to your participation and support in the recognition of the outstanding work by Gold Coast schools in Digital Technologies education.
