Level 3 (Learning Activity)



Create a QR Code Educational Activity

Create a QR code based educational activity that could be used with students. (equivalent to 700 words).

You should aim to analyse the effective use of QR codes for learning and using an QR creation tool and QR tags, interpret the software to develop an educational activity that could not be easily achieved without the use of QR codes, and clearly contributes to student learning. A satisfactory standard can be achieved by creating a QR code treasure hunt activity however High, Very High and Outstanding standards will not be achieved unless insight is shown into the creative use of QR codes. This will be assisted by reading deeply into the module text, examples, and further reading into the use of QR codes for educational purposes.

You can present your activity via a Youtube video (maximum of 7 minutes).

Level 4 (Advanced Activity)



AR Site Based Educational Activity


Create a site based augmented reality educational activity.   (equivalent to 1100 words: 700 words and 4  minutes of video).

Your description and demonstration of a site based augmented reality educational activity should show interpretation and analysis of existing location based AR activities and how they are being used for educational purposes, interpretation and analysis of the software tools used to create location based AR activities, intellectual initiative in using this software in innovative ways to clearly support an educational outcome, and modification of an innovative educational activity to incorporate the use of the technology.
