ICT and Pedagogy
Understanding ICT for Teachers

This open online course aims to assist pre-service and current teachers in their teaching of Information and Communication Technologies and using Educational Technologies to support their teaching.

While anyone is welcome to read and engage with course material, contribute to asynchronous discussions, attend online synchronous sessions, and compete level 1 and 2 assessments to inform your learning, only enrolled students can submit level 3 and higher assessment tasks for marking (though you are of course welcome to engage with these tasks on your own).

The course is designed to be flexible in addressing your particular interests in educational technologies while retaining sufficient overall grounding to understand where these interests fit within the range of digital pedagogies and educational technologies that can support teaching and learning.

Course introductory material now located in Introductory Material
This is where you watch lecture/discussion panels live at 10am or 2pm Thursday, or 3pm Friday depending on your group

Lecture/Discussion streams can be viewed live here and the last recorded session will be displayed, they will then be archived to Online Sessions for later review, and questions can be asked during broadcasts in the Google Moderate directly below (select the week and session time). Students who have been selected to be panel participants should log into their Google+ enabled Google Account and you will receive an invitation (it will popup up) to join the session approximately 15 minutes before it begins, click on this and you will open the hangout session - note that your mike may be muted and can be un-muted in the top right.
The gadget you added is not valid

For conversation between online sessions, please post questions, ideas, resource links and comments to the Google discussion group being used by all cohorts:

Several activities require you to upload a youtube video or share a public Google document, the following video clip takes you through this process:
